Mistral releases open weights for its trillion-parameter Mistral Large 4 model
AIMistral has released the weights for Mistral Large 4, a trillion-parameter open-weight model, on Hugging Face and through its API. Mistral says the model matches the Chinese open-weight GLM-5.3 on performance while using 47 percent fewer tokens per task, and it targets cybersecurity use. Mistral's VP of Science Pierre Stock says open weights let businesses and governments deploy it on-premises without cutoff by a provider.
