Anthropic opens Singapore office and signs MOU with Singapore government

Anthropic opens its fifth Asia-Pacific office in Singapore and signs a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore Ministry of Digital Development and Information.

The MOU covers AI safety, security, model evaluation, and responsible AI adoption in the public and private sectors.

Singapore ranks second of 121 countries in Claude.ai usage relative to population, and GovTech Singapore has more than 1,500 engineers using Claude Code.
