Deloitte survey: 52% of UK large-company CFOs plan AI-driven job cuts within a year

A Deloitte survey of 66 CFOs found 52% expect to cut jobs with AI in the next year, while two-thirds say AI has delivered only a quarter of the change they expected. Only a third expect AI to raise profit margins next year. The survey ran September 17 to October 1, with 12 respondents from FTSE 100 firms and 25 from FTSE 250 firms.
