Microsoft to disable Copilot themes in new Outlook worldwide in October

Microsoft will disable the Copilot themes feature in new Outlook for macOS, Windows, and Outlook.com in mid-to-late October 2026, according to Windows Latest.

The feature let users describe or pick a direction for Copilot to generate a theme that restyles the Outlook interface, and Windows Latest speculates that few users adopted it.

Microsoft will also remove the "Wrap up your day" inbox summary feature in the same period.
