Meta, Pinacoteca di Brera and EssilorLuxottica pilot AI glasses for blind art visitors

Meta, Milan's Pinacoteca di Brera and EssilorLuxottica launch "Sensing Art," a pilot that lets blind and low-vision visitors use Meta AI glasses to hear audio descriptions of eight selected artworks.

The glasses recognize each artwork and play its description through open-ear speakers, with Meta AI and Be My Eyes available for extra help. The tour runs by reservation, with glasses available Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
