Open-source WeChatBridge releases Windows beta for forwarding WeChat chats to AI agents
Original titleOpen-Source WeChatBridge Arrives on Windows in Beta, Sending WeChat Chats to Codex and Other Agents
Independent developers released a Windows beta of WeChatBridge, an open-source tool on GitHub that forwards WeChat chat records to AI agents such as Codex, Claude Code, Doubao and Qwen, or saves them to Obsidian.
The Windows build can collect more than 100 messages by batching them, a limit WeChat normally blocks, and the developers say they avoid simulating clicks or decrypting the chat database to reduce account-ban risk.
The project is not a Tencent product and has passed about 1,200 GitHub stars since its macOS launch in late September.
The source details how the tool bridges WeChat's forwarding menu to AI agents, including the batch workaround for the 100-message limit and its stated account-ban risk.
