Epoch AI launches an explorer estimating AI chip arrivals by country
AIEpoch AI has launched the AI Chip Imports explorer, which estimates AI compute arriving in each country quarter by quarter since 2022 using customs records. It estimates the US received 19.8 million H100-equivalents, or 72%, of the 27.4 million total through June 2026, while China, including domestic production, received 2.6 million, or 10%.
