BioComputing's Mischief 1 video model runs at least 5x faster than its base

AIBioComputing has spent four years studying how living neurons compute on electrodes, and its first product, Mischief 1, is a video model at least 5x faster than its base model. According to BioComputing's founder, Mischief 1 costs 0.5 cents per second of generated video and is the cheapest image-to-video model on fal and OpenRouter.

The era of hardcore fundamental research is back!

This is key to improving AI efficiency.

The brain runs on roughly 20 watts, so it makes sense to study how it computes.

@BioComputingCo has been doing that with living neurons for four years. Their first product is mischief 1, a video model at least 5x faster than its base model.

I'm curious to see where this research goes after video.

today, we introduce a little mischief to the world. for four years, we’ve been brewing real brain cells on electrodes to understand how they compute. now, we’ve turned those discoveries into a video model anyone can use. from 0.5¢ a second, mischief 1 is at least 5x faster than its base and the cheapest image-to-video model on @fal and @OpenRouter. soon to be on @awscloud marketplace. it’s not a delusion anymore. biocompute is real, commercial and this is just the beginning. happy halloween.
