GitHub Copilot deprecated Gemini 3.7 Flash, GPT-5.5, GPT-5.4, GPT-5.4 mini, GPT-5 mini and Grok 4.5 on October 19, 2026, across most Copilot experiences. GitHub suggests Gemini 3.8 Flash, GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-6 Luna and Grok 4.7 as replacements. Enterprise administrators may need to enable the alternative models through their Copilot model policies.
