Columbia's FlexiTac open-source tactile sensor platform reaches Analog Devices commercialization
AIColumbia University's Yunzhu Li says the open-source FlexiTac piezoresistive tactile sensor, released about a year and a half ago, has been widely adopted in academia and industry. Analog Devices is developing a commercial version with five times the tactile resolution of a human finger, made with semiconductor manufacturing processes.
