Huawei publishes full Kirin 9050 Pro architecture and reports over 100 million Kirin device shipments

At a Shanghai media briefing, Huawei's Xu Songyu published the first detailed architecture diagram of the Kirin 9050 Pro and said its Maleoon GPU delivers 40% higher performance than its predecessor.

Huawei also disclosed that devices built on Kirin chips have shipped more than 100 million units since August 2023. Xu said the next-generation Kirin 2027 is ready and listed five open challenges facing the LogicFolding approach.
