Orbbec drops its lawn mower robot ODM business after thousands of units shipped

Orbbec, a 3D vision perception company, decided internally in mid-September to end its lawn mower robot ODM business, though its vision module line continues.

The business had shipped only several thousand units, well below expectations, after the company invested in whole-machine development and won an order from a Shanghai customer.
