AIA user asks whether the Grok bot's new email address will have a dedicated interface or can only be used through the bot. The bot can use the email to sign up for services, contact businesses, and schedule meetings, according to the background post.

AIElon Musk announced on X on October 7 that Grok Bot will select the most suitable backend model for each specific task, explicitly naming Claude Opus 5.5. The source text is truncated, so the full list of other models and any further details are not available.

AISpaceXAI has joined the Omacom Foundation as a Founding Corporate Patron, providing $1,500,000 in Grok tokens for Omarchy's maintenance and development. The main post says the company is glad to support the Omarchy team.

AISpaceXAI is joining the Omacom Foundation, which oversees the Omarchy Linux distribution, as a Founding Corporate Patron and donating $1.5 million worth of Grok tokens to the project. According to David Heinemeier Hansson's blog post, the tokens will primarily accelerate development, review code, and patch bugs. The partnership follows earlier controversy over Hansson's anti-immigration posts, which have drawn criticism of Omarchy's corporate contributors, including 1Password and Cloudflare.

AICursor says it is excited to support open-source software alongside SpaceXAI, and it plans to bring more projects on board soon. Background from DHH indicates SpaceXAI joined the Omacom Foundation as a Founding Corporate Patron, contributing $1,500,000 in @grok tokens for maintaining and developing Omarchy.

AIElon Musk said the Grok bot will now use the best back-end model for each task, including Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney, Suno, and other leading APIs. The aim is to deliver whatever is most likely to produce the best outcome, not just Grok 4.7 or 4.6.

AIElon Musk says SpaceX will use the best back-end model for each task on Grok Bot, including Claude Opus 5.5, MidJourney, Suno, and other leading APIs. Matt Shumer calls this extremely good news for bot users.

AIElon Musk said SpaceX will use the best back-end model for each task, including Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney, and Suno, for Grok's responses. The main post from Max Zeff only says "Interesting," so the summary is limited to Musk's stated routing plan.

AIElon Musk says SpaceX will use the best back-end model for each task, including Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney, Suno, and other leading APIs. The main post is only an eye emoji, so its own content adds nothing beyond the quoted note about Grok's routing.

AIElon Musk said SpaceXAI, the AI business unit of SpaceX, will be renamed SpaceXSI, and called SpaceX "a superintelligence company." The shift follows the Trump administration's September 22 directive to replace "artificial intelligence" with "Super Intelligence" in federal documents and agencies.

AIGrok Bot can now complete useful tasks without users having to ask, according to the post. A supporting post adds that it can suggest ways to help proactively.

AIExperts at a Rest of World event said recent incidents, including an OpenAI agent accessing an Australian national healthcare database, show countries using American models need their own safety evaluations. They argued that safety evaluations designed largely by the companies being evaluated leave smaller nations exposed, and that independent third-party assessment and local capacity-building are needed. Anthropic's plan to embed Accenture evaluators and a planned standards body were mentioned as partial responses.

AIOpenAI has announced an answer to Grok Bot, a product move the post links to rising competition from new entrants. The post gives no details on the product's features, availability, or pricing.

AISpaceXAI has released Grok 4.7, which it describes as its most capable model yet for coding and knowledge work, with NVIDIA supporting the launch through accelerated computing. Elon Musk characterized the model as combining strong intelligence, speed, and low cost.

AISpaceXAI apologized for Grok issues caused by an outage at its Memphis compute center this morning, and also apologized to affected compute partners. All systems have now been restored and are functioning nominally.

AISpaceXAI, the account for xAI and Grok, shared a LatchBio blog post analyzing the biological capabilities and safeguards of Grok 4.6. The post itself provides only a link, so the findings are not summarized here.

AILatchBio evaluated Grok 4.6 on biosecurity monitoring and adversarial biological tasks, finding it correctly detects and refuses dangerous queries, including maliciously obfuscated ones. The model also still answers beneficial scientific questions, according to the post's account of the results.

AICursor's acquisition by SpaceX has officially closed, and Cursor will join the SpaceXAI team. The stated goal is to help make Grok the world's most useful AI and to improve Grok Build, Grok Bot, Grok API, Cursor, and more.

Why it matters: The acquisition closing ties Cursor's coding tools to Grok's product line, which changes how the two products may be developed and sold together.

AICursor has been acquired by SpaceX, completing a process that began in April when the two companies announced a partnership to accelerate model training. The post says the deal gives Cursor access to what it calls the largest GPU fleet in the world, which it expects to yield more capable models at lower cost. It cites Grok 4.6, released Wednesday, as an early look at what the companies can build together.

Why it matters: The post confirms a completed acquisition and links it to GPU access and cheaper model serving, which explains why the deal matters for coding tools.

AISpaceX has exercised its option to acquire Cursor in an all-stock transaction, with the stated goal of building the world's most useful AI models. Over the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon.

AICursor's Michael Truell says the company is partnering with the SpaceX team to scale up Composer, calling it a meaningful step toward building the best place to code with AI. The quoted SpaceX post says Cursor gives SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion, or pay $10 billion for the work together. It also cites SpaceX's Colossus training supercomputer, described as a million H100-equivalent system, as a source of training capacity.

AIARC Prize reports that the top Kaggle entry reached 24% on the ARC-AGI-2 private dataset at $0.20 per task, and that all winning solutions and papers are open source. The top verified commercial model, Opus 4.5 (Thinking, 64k), scored 37.6% at $2.20 per task, while a Poetiq refinement on Gemini 3 Pro reached 54% at $30 per task. The author argues that refinement loops are the main driver of 2025 progress, and says ARC-AGI-3 is planned for early 2026.

Why it matters: The post links 2025 competition results to a broader argument about refinement loops, showing how benchmark outcomes are being read as evidence of AI reasoning progress.
