Latest update (11-07 13:24): Javier Bits explains a switchless four-node DGX Spark ring

Overview: Javier Bits says he connected four NVIDIA DGX Sparks in a closed ring without a switch, a setup he says NVIDIA's documentation does not support at four nodes. He cabled the units as 1 → 2 → 4 → 3 → 1 so that no link spans more than two machines, and he rebuilt the NFS mounts and SSH keys for the fourth Spark. He published a bash script for the setup.

According to his post, a switch is still required for more than four nodes, or for adding and removing machines without recabling.
