Design Arena says Ling-3.1-flash beats GPT-5.6 Sol on detailed SVG icon generation

Design Arena, a model comparison platform, reports that Ant Group's Ling-3.1-flash outperformed OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol in a 3D SVG icon test, producing over 1,000 shapes against fewer than 200 from GPT-5.6 Sol.

The post, shared on X, also says blind votes found Ling-3.1-flash strong at animated SVGs and complete mobile apps.

These results come from Design Arena's own comparison and were published by Design Arena itself; no independent verification has been reported. The test was framed around complete 3D SVG iconography for a design agency needing 100+ icons.
