Anthropic releases Claude Haiku 5.5 with tiered pricing that rises above 100k tokens

Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 5.5, which Artificial Analysis scores at 43 on its Intelligence Index, up 26 points from the previous Haiku release a year earlier, according to Sophia Yang's post on X. Per that report, Haiku 5.5 costs $0.10 per million input tokens and $0.50 per million output tokens for prompts up to 100k tokens, which the report describes as cheaper than its predecessor and equal to GPT-6 Luna's rate.

Pricing rises above that threshold: prompts longer than 100k tokens cost $0.50 input and $2.50 output per million tokens, five times the base rate. The report comes from a single source, and no other reports were available to confirm these figures.
