Thariq publishes ai-newtab, a Chrome extension that generates a daily AI homepage

Thariq (@trq212) made public the GitHub repository for ai-newtab, a Chrome extension that generates an AI-produced new-tab homepage.

He said on X that the repository was published by accident: he sent the post and went to a meeting without realizing the repo was still private, and it is now public. He also says he uses the extension every day. The report is his own post; it does not describe the extension's features or how it is licensed or supported.
