StepFun's Step 5 Preview hits #1 on OpenRouter Trending and reaches coding tools

StepFun released its Step 5 Preview model, which reached #1 on OpenRouter Trending a day after launch, according to the fact's evidence.

The model is available in Kilo Code, Cline, Hermes Agent, and OpenCode, and StepFun has said open weights will follow on October 15.
