## Summary

Google has launched a beta Connected Apps Platform that lets U.S. developers register third-party apps for use in Gemini and Google Search. Developers integrate through a cloud-hosted MCP server or Android MCP using AppFunctions APIs, then submit apps via the Google Connected Console. Google already offers over 50 connected apps in Gemini, with Search integrations rolling out over the coming weeks.
