Cognition introduces Fusion in Devin Desktop and CLI for lower-cost coding

Cognition is making Fusion available in Devin Desktop and CLI, a harness where a frontier lead model plans and reviews while a cheaper sidekick executes.

Across listed coding benchmarks, Cognition reports Fusion cuts cost per task by about 11% to 46% versus the lead model alone, while the sidekick does the implementation work.
