Microsoft AI's MAI-Image-2.7-Preview ranks #2 on Artificial Analysis's AA-Image-Editing v2.1 leaderboard, just behind OpenAI's GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst (max). It scores higher than its predecessor MAI-Image-2.6 on all seven measured editing actions, ranking #1 on four, and is available now in MAI Playground for image editing only.
