## Summary

GeekPark reports that some early iPhone Duo units have cracked inner screens near the hinge, with about 10 independent cases found by 9to5Mac. Apple said on October 26 that a small number of units had inner-screen problems and offered AppleCare replacements without an AppleCare+ purchase. iFixit's analysis points to a possible central hinge support not fully lowering when the phone is closed, though it has not confirmed this cause.
