## Summary

Apple says a small number of iPhone Duo units have an inner display issue and will be replaced under AppleCare warranty. Customers report horizontal bright lines from the hinge, and out-of-warranty inner-screen repair costs $999. Repair firm iFixit theorizes the damage may stem from the hinge design.
