## Summary

Amazon has assembled a new team working on a "new-to-world robot product," according to a CNBC analysis of job posts. The effort follows the Astro home robot, which shipped to only a few thousand customers before the company sunset an Astro for businesses less than a year after its 2023 release. In March, Amazon acquired New York-based Fauna Robotics, whose 3.5-foot humanoid Sprout is now part of its new Personal Robotics Group.
