## Summary

Datasette releases Datasette Agent 0.5a0, whose main new feature is a panel that keeps the agent chat open beside pages such as tables and query results. Combined with datasette-apps, the panel lets users prompt a database-backed app into existence and modify it from the adjacent chat. The release can be tried at agent.datasette.io by signing in with a GitHub account.
