## Summary

Ukraine is using AI-controlled machine gun turrets on the battlefield, and Brave1 says they have become an essential part of its air defense system. Brave1 says the turrets shot down dozens of enemy drones over Kyiv last month and have downed at least 60 targets under the civilian air defense program. Each unit reportedly costs about $150,000, and gunfire still requires a human operator's authorization.
