## Summary

Bernie Sanders and several newly elected Democrats, including Representative Yassamin Ansari, have renewed calls for datacenter moratoriums after the US midterm elections. Ansari urged a pause on advanced AI development and a ban on artificial superintelligence as the first priority. Post-midterm concerns about new regulation helped fuel a selloff of AI stocks this week, according to the report.
